Affiliate Disclosure

How affiliate relationships may support ChoiceRidge and how commercial links are disclosed.

Last updated: August 11, 2026Language: English

Plain-language disclosure

ChoiceRidge may earn a commission when readers purchase or sign up through certain links. This does not change the price paid by the reader and does not determine our editorial methodology or conclusions.

How affiliate links work

Some vendors operate affiliate or referral programs. If you click an eligible link and later complete a qualifying action, ChoiceRidge may receive compensation from that vendor or its affiliate network.

Where disclosures appear

A general policy page is not a substitute for a disclosure where a commercial recommendation occurs. Pages containing affiliate links should include a clear notice close enough to the recommendation or links for readers to understand the relationship before clicking.

What compensation does not buy

  • A guaranteed review or inclusion
  • A favorable rating, ranking or verdict
  • The removal of relevant drawbacks
  • Claims of testing that did not occur
  • Access to personal information beyond what the applicable provider lawfully shares

Vendor and ownership conflicts

If a vendor provides free access, payment, sponsorship or another material benefit, the relevant page will disclose it. ChoiceRidge and Vantevion have common ownership. Any ChoiceRidge coverage of a Vantevion product will include a specific ownership disclosure and will use the same stated evaluation process applied to other products.

Questions

If a commercial relationship is unclear on a page, please contact us. We prefer to correct an ambiguous disclosure before it affects a reader’s understanding.
